Wow, am I ever embarressed, I have been bad!

Sorry for not keeping this thing up to date. Bob and I have been busy, but I do have some photo's to show you.

Bob and I were crafty around Halloween.

We each decorated a pumpkin. Bob cut his out in the shape of a robot and I painted mine with Hello Kitty characters. They were a big hit with the kids that visited our house, even had a few offer to buy them from us. lol

(I don't have a photo at this time of my pumpkin, I'll upload one after I get home)

Here is a small bench I painted up for Halloween

Other then that, bob surprised me one night when I came home from a painting class with a HUGE Yellow Submarine on the wall, at first it was just print-off's as a template and now he is slowly replacing those print-off's with bright vibrant construction paper sections.

Bob also created a new Stained Glass Window Painting of Princess Leia & Luke Skywalker

More updates to come. Again, sorry for taking so long to update this.

End of August is approaching.

Sad to say, but the only painting I did this summer was the following.

I created another Waiter since he is so adorable, smaller size on a tray. I'm trying to sell him.

I figure it is time we had better start saving for our wedding.

It's kind of sad, I love Bob so much and I want to have a decent sized wedding with all our friends we've made while we have been together for (almost two years) and our family. Doesn't look like everyone will be able to be invited, we just can't afford it.

So every cent will count.

Yep, we're paying for it ourselves.

In September I'll be starting more art projects, so make sure you come back and check this blog out. :o)

Had a few minutes tonight, so I got crafty.

Bob and I have been so busy working, geocaching, metal detecting and gardening, we haven't had time to be crafty in a while. Tonight, while Bob was finishing his Harry Potter book, I painted x2 Weeble Pirate Cards. Talk Like a Pirate Day is coming up in September and I thought I would create two more cards. I had made one earlier this year and it sold. :o) Here are my newest two.

May the Force Be With You

Bob finished another stained glass window painting inbetween us metal detecting and geocaching.

I just find what he does is so awesome!!

He wants to do a Princess Leia one. Should be interesting. Maybe he should attempt a Jabba The Hutt. lol

Anyways, here it is.

Bob Got Crafty Last Week

With the summer almost here and the nice weather around, we really haven't had time to be crafty. Most days are spent at work and then by the time we get home, it's either gardening, cleaning or most importantly GEOCACHING and the odd time hanging out with friends. :o)

Last week Bob finished a project he started a few weeks before.

It's his CHEWIE STAINED GLASS WINDOW PAINTING. This photo doesn't do it justice. He did a fabulous job. Right now, he's debating whether to add it to Etsy or not. lol

WOO HOO, Bob made PJ Pants

Bob, my fiance, has always wanted to learn to sew with a sewing machine. One day while in Value Village he picked up a sewing machine. We talked with our friend Trailmix and she got us in touch with a store in Niagara Falls that helped Bob set up the sewing machine and purchased some supplies with it. A few months went by and he still hadn't used it. One day, Trailmix and her man asked us to go across the border with them for dinner and shopping, we went to Joanne's an awesome place to purchase material. We each picked out our favourite fabric. I picked PIRATES and Bob picked ROBOTS.

Well, Ladies and Gentlemen, he finally has completed the projects and here are the piccies to prove it. I LOVE THEM!!! I want to go shopping again and buy some different fabric.

Newest Projects

Sorry I haven't been around lately to post. I've been busy painting, geocaching and gardening. Thought I would post my newest projects I finished recently.

Above you can see a French Waiter I painted on an old cupboard door. I still have to choose a colour to go around the edge. I think he looks adorable and Bob loves him too. :o)

On Thursday night we had our last painting class for the season until Fall starts up. We took three pots and painted them with bricks, did shading, added windows and doors and voila, a lighthouse. lol We stuck it in the front garden and Bob made a walk-way at the front of it. It's pretty big if you look at the stairs beside it you know it is 5 stairs tall.

Last, but not least, a new addtion to my ETSY store - a mini Yellow Submarine painted Stained Glass Window. Here's the link to my store. http://images.etsy.com/all_images/0/00a/31b/il_430xN.7930075.jpg

Pleasant Surprise with a Sale last night!

After going out with Trailmix and her man for dinner and then running around the Dollar Store and Michael's, we headed for home. I made some yummy vanilla flavoured tea and we sat around the computers doing some internet stuff. I logged on to Etsy and noticed one of my items that had been for sale was missing. It was the WEEBLE PIRATE CARD!! I was so excited, I created a new card, this time for EASTER - Easter Chick & Bunny Weebles.

Hi I'm New Here!

My dear friend TrailMixDesigns told me I just HAD to start my own Blogger site, so here I am.

I normally use MYSPACE, but she said this is much better.

I guess I have to start from scratch! lol

My fiance and I started our own Etsy shopped titled FISHINTHEC - so I'll be posted a lot of the items we have done for the store PLUS items we have made for ourselves!!!!!

We also have items painted by Bob's mom in our Etsy store.

Here are two Stained Glass Window Paintings Bob and I each worked on.

I LOVE The YELLOW SUBMARINE

and Bob likes Doctor Who.

So that's it for now until I figure this thing out.
